Advocate Bongi Lukhele obtained his LLB degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. He was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in March 2013 and thereafter gained valuable experience as in-house legal counsel for both a leading insurance company and one of South Africa's major banks.

In 2018, he was called to the Bar and has since established a busy practice, appearing predominantly in the Pretoria and Johannesburg courts. His practice encompasses a broad range of civil, commercial, administrative, constitutional, and regulatory litigation.

Committed to the development of the legal profession, Advocate Lukhele has mentored few pupil advocates, all of whom have successfully completed their pupilage and now manage their own independent practices
