Karabo was admitted to the Bar in 2017, completed pupillage in 2018, and has since built a busy general practice, including in the areas of Commercial, Administrative, Employment, Personal Injuries and Banking Law.

Prior to joining the Bar, Karabo worked at the University of the Witwatersrand, first as a Research and Teaching Associate and then as a Sessional Lecturer. He then completed articles at Norton Rose Fulbright. Karabo is a trainer for Candidate Legal Practitioners for LEAD and he regularly serves as a course convenor for the pupillage program of PABASA's Pius Langa School of Advocacy.
